2015 Year in Review
Growing up, I always knew that my grandfather was a fireman and I always heard stories of his time in the FDNY, but I was never able to understand his dedication. I always knew that there was a brotherhood, outside of his family, but I never knew that I would find myself following in his footsteps. Joining both a fire department and an EMS department has changed my life completely and has show me more than I ever could of imagined. After a 5 day operation, the fire was finally declared out, but some major hits were taken. It was on July 22nd that this fire became the inferno of the townships history. This fire located at 1600 Livingston Ave, equipment was damaged and destroyed, gear was torn apart and beyond repair, trucks we damaged and some destroyed.
